Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The aim of the NeuroTLS study is to assess the frequency of self-reported TLS and the prevalence of neuropsychological performance deficits among consultation patients in psychotherapeutic outpatient clinics. For this purpose, patients undergo a one-time two-hour (neuro-)psychological screening. A comparison between self-reported TLS on the MCD scale and the (neuro-)psychological performance profile on the basis of the IST screening, the SKT and NAB screening will be made in order to investigate to what extent self-reported TLS also show up in objective performance tests. Test instruments are the IST-2000 Screening, the Syndrome Short Test (SKT) and the screening version of the Neuropsychological Assessment Battery (NAB). An assessment is also carried out using the First Impression Questionnaire. At the beginning of the examination, patients answer a socio-demographic questionnaire and the MCD scale. Supplement (03/2024): Expansion of the sample to include patients from a Lukaswerk day clinic (addiction, psychosomatics) and patients from a medical-occupational rehabilitation program (Lavie Reha gGmbH). The aim of the NeuroTLS study is to record the frequency of self-reported TLS and the prevalence of neuropsychological performance deficits in consultation patients in the psychotherapeutic outpatient clinic, in occupational-medical rehabilitation and in outpatient addiction rehabilitation and psychosomatics. The aim is to record the frequency of complex TLS and neuropsychological impairments in different psychotherapeutic facilities and to compare patients from different settings.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Further, it will be investigated to what extent different patterns of TLS can be found in impaired patients. For this purpose, sociodemographic variables will be further investigated.
