18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Age = 18 years - Myocardial infarction (STEMI or NSTEMI) with PCI prior to diagnosis of the ventricular thrombus and within the same hospitalization - Ventricular thrombus confirmed by TTE and/or cardiac MR - Initiation of oral anticoagulation treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patients with anticoagulation therapies other than DOAC or Marcumar

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
• Incidence of patients with left ventricular thrombus after myocardial infarction • Prescribed antithrombotic therapy • Change of size and thrombus modification of ventricular thrombi under oral anticoagulation therapy with DOACs or Marcumar based on a follow-up examination with TTE or cardiac MRI in the first 3 to 6 months from baseline

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Clinical outcomes: • Documented/reported embolic events (stroke, myocardial infarction) • Documented/reported bleeding events • Documented/reported death during the first 12 months after diagnostic confirmation of the ventricular thrombus and initiation of anticoagulation
