18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.) Age from 18 years up to and including 85 years 2.) Confirmed acute pulmonary artery embolism using CTPA (computed tomographic pulmonary angiography) 3.) Diameter ratio between right and left ventricles (RV/LV) = 1 in CT scan or echocardiography 4.) Concentration of troponin T above the detection limit 5.) PESI Score III-V

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.) Hemodynamic instability 2.) Pregnancy or breastfeeding 3.) Low-risk pulmonary artery embolism 4.) Earlier inclusion in the study
