Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All premature babies < 28 weeks' gestation (or < 32 weeks' gestation with birth weight < 10th percentile) who were treated directly postnatally in the Department of Neonatology at the University Hospital of Tübingen and their mothers.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Presence of a congenital gastrointestinal malformation, presence of a metabolic defect, a predetermined palliative procedure.
