Interventions

Group 1: 1. Assessment of the predictive potential of the individual CVD risk after hypertensive pregnancy diseases (HPD
measured by serum lipids, hypertension, blood glucose levels, BMI and 10- and 30-year Framingham Risk Score) using innovative, sector-specific phenotypes of the retinal layers and characteristics of t
48-72h postpartum
6, 12 and 24 months postpartum) 2. Measurement of a reference group of healthy pregnant women (n= 100) as well as women with gestational diabetes (n= 100) in the second and third trimester and 48-72 h

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
- Macular retinal layer thicknesses over ten layers in nine sectors, measured by SD-OCT at baseline, follow-up 1(FU1) to follow-up 4 (FU4) - Quantification of the vessel density of the three vascular plexi and measurement of the foveal avascular zone (FAZ) using OCT-A - Wall-to-lumen ratio of retinal vessels measured with AO at baseline time points, FU1-FU4

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Angiogenic factors (sFlt-1/ PlGF) - Maternal Doppler of the Aa. uterine
