40 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Age: between 40 and 90 years • Patients after experiencing a stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic) • Duration between stroke and study inclusion between 0.5 and 12 months • Presence of paresis (paralysis) of the arm (right or left) since the occurred stroke (hand function test 2 [see 8.8.1.2]) • Existing understanding of instructions • Provided informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Complete arm paresis (hand function test 0, 1) • Pre-existing functional limitations of hand function on the affected side • Neurodegenerative or inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system (e.g. Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.) • Non-correctable visual impairments • Scoring more than 5 points on the Box and Block Test with the affected side
