Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Written informed consent - Preserved legal capacity of the subjects at the respective time of the examination - MRI suitability (not required if age >79) - For PET: PET suitability
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. contraindications to MRI examinations: Pacemaker or defibrillator systems, tattoos, cochlear implants, insulin pumps, cerebral and ocular vascular clips or metal splinters, and marked claustrophobia, implants not suitable for MRI. 2. dementia syndromes 3. current severe neurological disease of the central nervous system (e.g. Parkinson's syndrome, motor neuron disease, temporal lobe epilepsy, multiple sclerosis) 4. current major depressive disorder and/or major neuropsychological disorder (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder) 5. current addiction (e.g. alcohol, psychological pharmaceuticals, cocaine, heroin) 6. serious internal diseases (e.g. diabetes mellitus) 7. Derailed vascular risk factors 8. advanced renal and cardiac insufficiency 9. severe visual or hearing impairment (uncorrected) 10. large tattoos 11. piercings 12. fear of confined spaces (claustrophobia) 13 contraindication for PET in young female participants: pregnancy

| - Tau PET (part of the cohort) o Correlations between tau pathology and memory performance in the overall cohort o Correlations between tau pathology and brain structure/function in the overall cohort - Moderation analyses to test the hypothesis of "reserve/resilience", i.e. whether more neuronal resources (brain structure/function) lead to better cognition with the same degree of pathology. - Characterization of the change in the investigated parameters after 2 years o Regression model in total cohort, in which change in memory function after 2 years is predicted by baseline tau in the medial temporal lobe. o Characterization of regional tau PET accumulation after 2 years in the tau PET scan. | — |
