Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Patients admitted to the weaning unit after critical illness -informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant or lactating patients (as ruled out in clinical routine) 2. Limited life expectancy (death expected within 3 months due to underlying disease) 3. Patients unable to follow orders from the study personnel (language barriers, neurological, psychiatric disorders)
