Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - elective surgery under general anesthesia (total intravenous or balanced general anesthesia) - ASA status I, II or III - Invasive continuous radial artery blood pressure measurement independent of the study - Patient consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Circulatory disorder of the hands - Atrial fibrillation or other higher-grade cardiac arrhythmia - Higher-grade clinically relevant valvular heart disease - Severe peripheral arterial occlusive disease (Fontaine stage > 3) - Central spinal regional anesthesiological procedures

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Acquisition and evaluation of the number of HPI alarms and estimation of diagnostic measures such as specificity and sensitivity and predictive values (diagnostic quality).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Detection of hypotensive events (defined as mean arterial blood pressure (MAP) 1 min) in terms of number, absolute duration (minutes), area of the curve below the 65 mmHg threshold, and time-weighted mean below the 65 mmHg threshold
