Primary

MeasureTime frame
This study contains two study parts. The first study part includes 9 measurement occasions. 1) t0 takes place before the visit to the rehab clinic. 2) t1 takes place at the beginning of the visit to the rehabilitation clinic. 3) t2 takes place immediately after visit to rehab clinic. 4) t3 takes place 6 months after attending the rehab clinic. 5) t4 takes place 12 months after attending the rehab clinic. 6) t5 takes place 18 months after attending the rehab clinic. 7) t6 takes place 24 months after attending the rehab clinic. 8) t7 takes place 30 months after attending the rehab clinic. 9) t8 takes place 36 months after visiting the rehab clinic. The following indicators will be assessed at these measurement points: subjective health (WHOQOL-BREF), work ability (Work Ability Index), BMI and physical activity (PACE +). In addition, employment status and information on disability pension at the end of the study are collected. The second part of the study includes an ecological ambulatory assessment. Here, people are asked questionnaires about the psychological determinants of a specific health behaviour (e.g. IRENA) several times a week in the 12 to 24 weeks after attending a rehabilitation clinic. These questionnaires measure the intention (two items) and the anticipated pleasure (adjusted Feeling Scale) before the health behaviour, the actual pleasure experienced during/immediately after the health behaviour (feeling Scale), and habit (SRBAI) after the health behaviour.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
In the second study part, semi-structured interviews will be additionally conducted with individuals, who either were successful in adopting a health behaviour or not.
