Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The primary statistical endpoint is a Pearson's correlation of the total score of the SHEIH-23 and the HEI-EPIC to assess criterion-related validity. Reliability is assessed by determining the kappa coefficient and the split-half method. A summative assessment of the suitability for measuring dietary quality for the collective, determines the classification as a valid measurement tool. All measurement take place once in week 0. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1. Description of the objectivity in performance and interpretation (without quantitative testing) 2. Results of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis to determine cut-off values and for a satisfactory relationship between specificity and sensitivity 3. Correlations between dietary quality and age and dietary quality and BMI, differences between dietary quality of different defined phenotypic genders, and differences in dietary quality of subjects with different highest educational levels 4. Correlations between the self-assessed nutritional quality and the determined nutritional quality 5. Differences in the acceptance of the implementation of the SHEIH-23 and the Freiburg nutrition protocol 6. Differences in the results of the Pearson correlation of the total score of the SHEIH-23 and the HEI-EPIC, the kappa coefficient of the results of the split-half method of omnivores, vegetarians and vegans | — |
