Group 1: All adult patients with necrotizing acute pancreatitis who were treated at the participating centers during the study period will be considered. Patients will be identified from the hospital

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - necrotising pancreatitis - age > 18 years - at least one necrotic collection that is externally drained

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - age < 18 years - no necrotic collection that is externally drained
