Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoint is the evaluation of the designed exercise program. Among other things, the effects of this intervention on anthropometric, medical, motor, psychosocial and cognitive parameters of the residents and staff will be recorded. Finally, the question will be answered whether the designed exercise program can be implemented in the setting of inpatient care and what optimization may still be necessary. All studies will be repeated longitudinally after 10 months in order to measure the effects of the exercise intervention. The same examination procedures will always be used for the outcome, structure and process evaluation. Examination procedures residents: - Mini-Mental-Status-Examination 2 Short version - Handdynamometer - Short Physical Performance Battery - Tilburg Frailty Indicator - LUCAS Frailty Index (2 items) - DIA-S - FSOZU - XSMFAD - Pedometer Examination method employees - Handdynamometer - 2 minutes step test - 1 minute stand up test

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Using self-developed questionnaires for the entire nursing staff, the facility management and exercise instructors, the concept and the structure of the exercise intervention will be adequately evaluated after completion of the project. These surveys will take place longitudinally after 10 months. In addition, a survey of residents and staff will be conducted after 5 months to evaluate the feasibility of the intervention.
