Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for patient:s: - Diagnosis of oncologic or hematologic disease that is not curable or has an uncertain prognosis. - Capacity to give consent Inclusion criteria for relatives: - relatives of a patient with a diagnosis of an oncologic or hematologic disease that is not curable or is associated with an uncertain prognosis - Capacity to consent Inclusion criteria for members of the patient advisory board, or patient representatives and health care professionals: - Counseling and care of patients with an oncologic or hematologic disease that is not curable or is associated with an uncertain prognosis. - Capacity to consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for patients: - Patients who, in the opinion of the treating team, are in a too poor general condition or too stressed to participate in a study of any kind. - Cognitive or communicative deficits - visual disturbances - Injuries in the area of the head, which are associated with possible risks for the patients when using the VR goggles. - Life expectancy of a few days Exclusion criteria for relatives: - Relatives who feel too burdened to participate in a study of any kind - Cognitive or communication deficits - Relatives of dying patients Exclusion criteria for members of the patient advisory board, or patient representative:s, and health care professionals: - Cognitive or communication deficits

(1) Symptom perception, well-being and treatment experience using validated questionnaires, treatment adherence, pain medication, vegetative functionality. (2) Feedback and suggestions for improvement from patients, relatives and patient advisory council based on the results of (1).
