Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria healthy subjects - Age >= 18 years - Patient consent to participate 2. Inclusion criteria patients - Age >= 18 years - Patient consent to participate - Suspicion of glioma WHO grade III or IV as assessed by cerebral imaging (MRI) - Interdisciplinary recommendation for resection or biopsy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria all subjects - Pregnancy - Patients with major contraindications to MR scanning (e.g. presence of implanted MRI-incompatible cardiac devices or insuline pumps). - Dementia or other clinically relevant alterations of the mental status which could impair the ability of the patient to apply to the diet or understand the informed consent of the study

| This is an exploratory study to optimize and apply an MR spectroscopic investigation protocol for in vivo detection of intra- and peritumoral glutamate concentrations. The measurement results will be validated and correlated with ex vivo tissue analyses. The study seeks to generate hypotheses for future research. | — |
