Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants who work as care givers in the reception center of the Patrick Henry Village in Heidelberg, or other first reception settings and from charitable organizations on a professional or voluntary basis. Included are participants (min. 18 years), who are able to give consent, who report a work-related stress and the willingness to process the work-related experiences with an EMDR exposure is also a prerequisite. Inclusion in the study is of course subject to their voluntary and informed consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Active suicidality, active self-injurious behavior, substance use, or psychotic symptoms. This is inquired about as part of the anamnesis.
