Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - severe aortic stenosis - elective minimal invasive OP (MIC LAT S technique) - normal preoperative EF (>=50%) - normal sinus rhythm - written informed consent to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - rhythm other than sinus at T1 or T2 - hemodynamically relevant aortic insufficiency - hemodynamically relevant mitral stenosis or insufficiency - anatomically bicuspid aortic valve - redo surgery

MeasureTime frame
Comparability of parameters quantifying the LV function (EF, Strain, Twist and Torsion) in the echocardiographic examination at T1 (intraoperatively, before incision) and T2 (intraoperatively, with valve prosthesis, short before the end of the surgery)
