Interventions

Group 1: Patients who because of symptoms or due to visually suspicious vermiform appendix receive an appendectomy during pregnancy.

• Maternal age • Maternal comorbidities • Gestational age at time of delivery • Gestational age at the time of appendectomy • clinical symptoms • Number of intrauterine fetal deaths • Number of vaginal births, vaginal surgical deliveries, sectiones • Neonatal outcome (5-minute APGAR, umbilical cord arterial pH, infections, NICU admission, postnatal death) • Maternal outcome (blood loss during birth, ICU stay)
