Group 1: Palliative care physicians working in inpatient and outpatient palliative care in Berlin

all palliative care physicians working in specialized inpatient and outpatient palliative care in Berlin are asked to take part in the online-survey. Group 2: Palliative care physicians working in inp

physicians who have specialized in palliative care and who are working in specialized inpatient and outpatient palliative care in Germany are asked to take part in the online-survey. Group 3: DELPHI-P

nationwide experts are invited.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: physicians specialized in palliative care

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: I) No board examination in palliative care. Less than 1 year of practical experience in palliative care.

Subject of this study is the survey of treatment processes and practice for epileptic seizures in inpatient and outpatient palliative care. The primary aim of the study is to evaluate the proportion of palliative patients with epileptic seizures in inpatient and outpatient palliative care (palliative care ward, palliative care consultation service, hospice, SOPV), detect challenges for palliative care professionals in the treatment of epileptic seizures, determination of the drug treatment practice, frequency of changing antiseizure medication at the end of life, frequency of the indication of palliative sedation due to series of seizures that are difficult to control or pharmacoresistant status epilepticus.	—
