Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| - To evaluate the incidence and assess the value of postoperative biochemical changes for PPAP in short-term outcome (incidence and severity of complications represented in the Clavien-Dindo Classification (CDC) and Comprehensive Complication Index (CCI)). - To confirm and complement the definition and classification of postoperative acute pancreatitis (PPAP) of the international study group of pancreatic surgery (ISGPS). | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| - To evaluate postpancreatectomy biochemical changes (lipase, white blood cells (WBC), CRP) and their clinical significance for the postoperative course. - To develop clinical scores for predicting severe postoperative complications after pancreatic resection. - To provide knowledge for effective early management of complications to reduce morbidity | — |
