Interventions

Group 1: Approximately 50 patients with multiple sclerosis in relapse will be included before receiving cortisone. These will be followed up prospectively over the recovery period (3 months).

Inclusion criteria: MS patients in relapse, EDSS <8

Exclusion criteria: known diabetes
