Group 1: HS patients with Hurley I-III (hidradenitis suppurative) Group 2: Patients with psoriasis vulgaris Group 3: Healthy control persons without inflammatory skin disease

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Confirmed HS diagnosis - Over 18 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The following patients are excluded from the study: - active tumour disease - metastatic tumour disease - Advanced liver disease - liver insufficiency - liver cirrhosis - renal insufficiency - Pregnancy or breastfeeding - Patients under 18 years of age - Patients without informed consent - known acute or chronic infectious diseases - insufficient language skills (German) to complete the questionnaires - mental retardation - infections or severe oedema in the lower leg area

Is body composition related to disease severity of HS (Hurley classification, IHS4, SAHS, mHSS; 0 and 3 months after first presentation)? Are there differences in body composition to patients with psoriasis and healthy controls vs. HS?	—

- Is the frequency of certain body components associated with HS severity (Hurley classification, IHS4, SAHS, mHSS)? - Is the relapse frequency of HS in the last 4 weeks dependent on body composition? - Is the frequency of HS relapses in the last 4 weeks dependent on body composition? - Is quality of life (DLQI) dependent on body composition? - Can body composition modification reduce HS activity? - What is the relationship between BMI and body composition in HS? - Does poor body composition promote the development of secondary diseases (obesity, CHD, insulin resistance, diabetes mellitus)?	—
