Group 1: The patients sign a consent form in which they agree to take part in the study. All CT examinations will be performed using a dual-source CT scanner with identical data acquisition parameters

Inclusion criteria: Age > 18 years Indication for the performance of a CT thorax Signed declaration of consent

Exclusion criteria: Contraindication to the performance of CT thorax Refusal to participate in the study

Quality of respiratory status in two consecutive CT chest examinations as part of follow-up in a cohort with respiratory gating compared to a historical cohort without respiratory gating

Quality of comparability of pulmonary nodules, lung tumors, pleural effusions, quantification of pulmonary emphysema, interstitial lung diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis in the context of CT follow-up controls Quantitative recording of the performance of AI applications for CT follow-up assessment of pulmonary nodules
