Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Students of dentistry - Generally healthy - Consuming more than 25 g of "free sugars" per day (determined via RKI-DEGS questionnaire)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Diabetes mellitus and other diseases affecting the sugar metabolism - Eating disorders

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Mention of symptoms associated with sugar avoidence. These are queried daily for 4 weeks in a symptom diary according to both suggestions and free entry.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Pre-post comparison in the Craving Questionnaire (modified QSU-brief) - Pre-post comparison of nutrients in the food frequency questionnaire (RKI-DEGS questionnaire) - Pre-post comparison BMI - Pre-post comparison oral health and microbiota - Semistructured interviews - Physical activity (medical history) - "Follow-up" question on diet after 3 months
