Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reaching full weight-bearing, determined in days (surgery date Masquelet technique until full weight-bearing of the limb, i.e. when bone healing has occurred). The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical outcome of patients after surgical treatment using the Masquelet technique. The study aims to fill gaps in the knowledge of how to assess the incidence of complications after surgical treatment. The data obtained are necessary to enable further research in the field of bio-mechanical assessment as well as the conceptualization of novel forms of care. The study results will then provide the basis for planning a randomized trial.
