Interventions

Group 1: PCSK9-antibody therapy: Probands will receive a PCSK9-antibody therapy and will be investigated before and 8 weeks after initiation of the therapy.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - dyslipidemia - initiation of PCSK-9-antibody therapy planned - age =18 years - written informed consent - sex: male or female (post-menopausal)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - diabetes mellitus or intake of antidiabetic drugs - pregnancy - history of thrombosis or high risk for thrombosis [cancer disease, recent surgeries (within 6 weeks), genetic thrombophilia (APC resistance, Protein S deficiency, antithrombin deficiency, Prothrombin G20210A, MTHFR gene mutation)] - pacemaker or defibrillator - intake of unknown (study) drugs
