Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Omnivorous healthy women after natural menopause, aged 50-65.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The study excluded women using unconventional diets, supplements containing phytoestrogens such as red clover and other soy isoflavones. The occurrence of an unnatural menopause - as a result of surgery or radiotherapy for cervical cancer. History of chronic diseases of the liver, thyroid, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, cancer or allergy to soya, taking hormonal drugs, drugs that lower cholesterol or bile acid, bile acid sequestrants or statins. Exclusion was taking antibiotics or prebiotics in the three months preceding participation.
