Interventions

Group 1: Nature-based mindfulness: 6-week nature-based mindfulness program in the group (6 sessions of 150 min). In addition, maintaining previous forms of treatment. Group 2: Animal-based mindfulness

18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Mild depression (F32.0) or recurrent depressive episode in partial remission (F33.41) with a BDI-II score of < 25 points - Early traumatization before the age of 18 with at least mild expression in one of the categories in the CTQ - Good German language skills - Informed Consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Acute suicidality - Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, substance abuse or organic mental disorder - Antisocial, schizotypal or borderline personality disorder - Serious physical illness

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Well weeks or occurrence of depressive symptoms within 6 months after completion of the intervention, measured with the LIFE interview at follow-up

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Additionally will be evaluated at follow-up: - Depression scores (BDI-II) - Mindfulness skills (FFA) - Quality of life (WHOQoL)
