Group 1: The study includes 30 patients with myofascial pain who are examined before and after 3 months of splint therapy.
The prerequisite for participation is full dentition of the patient.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Consent to the study Patients with a diagnosis “myofascial pain” Patients with full dentition
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with craniofacial anomalies and syndromes Edentulous patients Allergies to ingredients in the splint and to ingredients in the used chewing gum
