Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Application of an ECMO device for mechanical circulatory and/or respiratory support. - Implantation of an ECMO device containing at least one active blood pump and an oxygenator.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Initiation of ECMO treatment at another participating study site.

Measure	Time frame
This is a registry study to collect data on incidence, previous diseases, laboratory values, devices used, course of treatment, patient survival, length of hospital stay, neurological outcome and risk factors. A classical survey of endpoints does not take place.	—
