Group 1: Work specific training of patient transfer (16 x 30 minutes) plus 10 guidence meetings at the ward, 16 weeks overall Group 2: Unspecific training of muscle strength and mobility, 25 x 20-30 m

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Works in direct nursing care in Amarita Haus Hamburg Mitte. - 20 weekly working hours or more. - Minimal expected employment in the company of 3 month after inclusion. - Sufficient language skills (german or english) to understand the study information, to give informed consent to participation and to understand the inverview questions. - No concommitent organisational circumstances (e.g. only night shift) that inhibit participation in the interventions or the study examinations.

Exclusion criteria: Nursing Home Manager, Social assistants

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Intervention 1: Cumulative physical load of the back, shoulders and knees during the performance of typical measures of patient transfer at t0, t1 and t2. Intervention 2: Functional mobility (Functional Movement Screen™, FMS) at t0, t1 and t2.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pain (Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire), Work ability (Work Ability Index, WAI), Finger-floor distance, Muscle strength and core stability (McGill Test), Muscle mass (bioelectric impendance analysis, BIA) Feedback questionaire after completion of the training (only intervention groups)
