Group 1: All patients who presented to the Clinic for Dental Preservation and Periodontology Kiel in a given period of time completed a current medical history and the Finnish Diabetes Risk Score once

Inclusion criteria: Sufficient German language comprehension, declaration of consent for the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with acute endocariditis, immunosuppressed patients, tumor patients
