Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a) at least 1 of the following symptoms from the symptom group "cardiopulmonary" (palpitations or heart palpitations, discomfort in the heart area); threshold value: at least 3 on the 5-point response scale b) At least one or more of the stress symptoms mentioned in the checklist must have occurred repeatedly within a period of at least 3-6 months c) excessive thoughts, feelings, or behaviors regarding the somatic symptoms or associated health concerns d) the intensity of cardio-vascular symptoms must show a minimum score of 4 on the numerical rating scale (NRS)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) Pregnancy; b) patients with acute organic heart disease d) patients with relatively severe systemic diseases, with severe psychiatric diseases and suicidal patients g) permanent pain medication

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Intensity of Somatic Stress Symptom(s) of the cardiovascular system measured with the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). The outcome parameter is recorded at the beginning of the treatments (T0), at each osteopathic treatment (T1 toT4) 14 days after the last treatment (T5) and 3 months after the last treatment (T6).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Cardiac Anxiety Questionnaire, SF-36 Quality of Life, and Medication Use. Secondary outcome parameters will be recorded at baseline (T0), T5, and T6. Medication intake is documented over the entire period of the study
