Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Is there a difference in the amount and spectrum of bacteria under the pannus compared to patients without overweight and pannus? For this, the following outcome parameters are examined: 1. Portion of gram-negative bacteria in the cultures. 2. Portion of resistent bacteria in the cultures. 3. Portion of typical pathogens of periprostetic joint infections in the cultures. 4. Number of colony forming units on the contact plates. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| a) Which bacteria can be isolated in cases of wound infection? Is there a correlation to the microbiom under the pannus? b) Does the rate of wound complications differ between patients with and without pannus? | — |
