Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 16 natural teeth, written and spoken German language-skills as well as signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: periodontal treatment according self-anamnesis, the current use of antibiotics up to 12 weeks prior inclusion, limited legal capacity, legal care, severe psychiatric illness according ICD-10 (Dementia, Schizophrenia), severe general illness, bed rest (according supervising physician) led to an exclusion. Also women being pregnant or breastfeeding were excluded.
