Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Before-After-Study: - advanced chronic heart failure - screening for transplantation - hospital stay (expected > 14 days), - understanding and speaking the German language - available written consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Before-After-Study: - Disorientation - Ventilation - Terminal phase - (L-)VAD implantation
