Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Voluntary participation and consent; understanding of the nature, scope, significance and consequences of the investigation (full legal capacity)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Skin allergies, especially to ultrasound gel; history of leg surgery; acute medication that may interfere with pain perception; delayed onset muscle soreness; acute injury or serious illness (cardiovascular/pulmonary/renal dysfunction, neurologic/psychiatric disease, advanced degenerative musculoskeletal disease, sports injury not fully healed) that affects quality of life or physical performance; acute inflammation; pregnancy/breastfeeding.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
After acquiring data in the form of ultrasound videos, the displacement of the soft tissue of the posterior thigh is calculated in centimeters using Matlab-based correlation analysis software.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Soft tissue displacement is compared between intervention (arm 1) and control (arm 2).
