Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Physiotherapists with at least three years of professional experience, working at least 15 hours per week as physiotherapists, who frequently treat patients with episodic LBP (at least once per week).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Failure to meet the inclusion criteria will result in exclusion. In addition, physiotherapists who were interviewed about their activity- and exercise-related beliefs as part of a previous study (repPeAT study) will be excluded.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Physiotherapeutic clinical practice of load management during strength training and pacing of aerobic activities in the management of patients with LBP through written case simulations (clinical vignettes) and related questionnaires.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Extended characteristics of physiotherapists: 1.) Demographic data: occupational experience, educational degree, and additional further trainings 2.) Focus, professional field of experience with low back pain patients 3.) Perceived importance of scientific evidence for the individual therapeutic work (likert-scaled assessment) 4.) Presence of or own experience with low back pain 5.) Pain Knowledge: Neurophysiology of Pain Questionnaire 6.) Physical Activity: Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ 7) Beliefs about low back pain: Health Care Providers' Pain and Impairment Relationship Scale (HCPAIRS) (own non-validated German-language translation)
