Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Age 18+ -Somatoform disorders according to the Health Questionnaire PHQ-15, from mild to moderate to severe somatization - Physical complaints that have existed for at least 4 weeks and can remain in the supine position for at least 75 minutes -Accessibility of the rooms in the Osteopathy School Germany

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Acute serious illnesses or injuries such as fractures - dominant systemic diseases requiring primary treatment - Existing pregnancy - further osteopathic interventions two weeks before and during the study period - No mastery of the German language, whether spoken or written -ongoing pension proceedings or pension that has already occurred due to somatoform disorder - Cardiovascular diseases such as cardiac arrhythmia (extrasystoles, atrial fibrillation) -No declaration of consent -mental illnesses, due to which a psycho-therapeutic treatment takes place

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Test persons are asked about their well-being by means of questionnaires. The physical symptoms are measured with the Public health questionnaire (PHQ-15) and the quality of life with the Short Form health 36 (SF-36) questionnaire. Data collection takes place before and after the first treatment, after the third treatment and as a follow-up, 3 months after the last treatment.

MeasureTime frame
The activity of the autonomic nervous system is evaluated by measuring the heart rate variability. Data collection takes place before and after the first treatment, after the third treatment and as a follow-up, 3 months after the last treatment.
