Group 1: Lumbar spine surgery (sequestrectomy, decompression surgery, spondylodesis)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients aged >18 years with either a lumbar disc herniation, stenosis or spondylolisthesis, who can be consented and are physically and psychologically fit to document dream content in written and complete the study questionnaires.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients aged <18 years or those who cannot be consented and/or are unable to document dream content.
