Inclusion criteria: Pre- or peripartum deceased children

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No parental consent to autopsy

MeasureTime frame
Does the water method influence or falsify the result of the autopsy? The autopsy takes place as soon as the parents let the child go, on average 2-5 days after birth. The degree of maceration depending on the time between intrauterine death of the child and birth, as well as the time between birth and autopsy is the main question.
