Group 1: treatment as usual + animal-assisted intervention with sheep, lasting 5 hours as well as resource activating imagination in the week after the intervention Group 2: treatment as usual

18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: inpatients with addiction or in an acute mental crisis with at least 7 days of inpatient treatment left as well as affinity to animals or openness towards sheep, ability to make arrangements, physical prerequisite: secure footing and ability to walk even on uneven terrain

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Existence of phobia of animals, allergy as well as aversions to specific animals
