Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients with known epilepsy - Age > 18 years, - Sufficient knowledge of German, - Presence of written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Age < 18, - Presence of primary headache disorder (other than episodic migraine or episodic tension headache) - Arterial hypertension, - Pregnancy, - Therapy with antibodies to CGRP or its receptor in the past 3 months. - Severe psychiatric or endocrinologic history, - Use of triptans/other analgesics within 48h prior to examination.

Quantification of trigeminal CGRP release in patients with epilepsy by measuring CGRP levels in tear fluid and plasma interictal versus ictal.	—
