Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Long-standing muscle-tendon complaints (e.g. patella-tip syndrome "jumper's knee", Achilles tendon complaints, tennis elbow or golfer's elbow)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Heart/brain pacemakers - cochlear implants - other endoprosthetic implants - Pregnancy (outpatient pregnancy test/ sonographic control) - cancer diseases - Diseases affecting pain perception (e.g. polyneuropathy)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome will be the pain pressure threshold (algometry) at 5 measurement time points (t0: immediately before, t1: immediately after, t2: 1 hour after, t3: 1 day after, t4: 1 week after the intervention). For this purpose we use the Wagner FDX 100 algometer from Wagner Instruments (S/N 1909600515, USA).

MeasureTime frame
The serum concentration of HSP-70 is determined at 4 measurement time points (t0: immediately before, t2: 1 hour after, t3: 1 day after, t4: 1 week after the intervention). For this purpose, we collect 4 blood samples at the aforementioned time points and determine the serum concentration of HSP-70
