Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Depressive episode currently mild, moderate, or severe without psychotic symptoms. Recurrent depressive episode, currently mild, moderate, or severe without psychotic symptoms. Fluent in spoken and written German.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Current psychotherapeutic treatment; acute suicidality; acute endangerment to others; acute self-harm; addictive disorders (current addictive disorder or harmful use); regular use of benzodiazepines; bipolar disorder (current or past episodes); acute psychotic symptoms; schizophrenic disorders (current or past); psychopharmacology: Stable intake of 4 weeks after reaching target dosage.
