Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: geriatric multimorbidity and inpatient stay in the geriatric ward; existing consent of the patient or an authorized person.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Language barriers, aphasia, severe cognitive impairment (MMSE < 10/30), psychotic symptoms

MeasureTime frame
Aim of this study is the validation of a diagnostic procedure. Accordingly, the sensitivity and specificity of the diagnostic tests “two-question test” and “GDS-15” are to be examined. The endpoint is collected using the two screening methods and the gold standard MADRS (diagnostic interview). The screening procedures are collected within 24 hours of admission, the MADRS is collected within 72 hours of admission.
