Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - subacromial impingement syndrome diagnosed by orthopaedic specialist/consultant - no previous surgery or trauma of the affected shoulder - current shoulder MRI (< 1 year) showing an intact rotator cuff - duration of symptoms less than 24 months - no accompanying therapeutic interventions
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - lack of correct diagnosis (subacromial impingement syndrome) - previous shoulder surgery or trauma - no current shoulder MRI (< 1 Jahr) - MRI showing a rotator cuff tear - duration of symptoms more than 24 months - accompanying therapeutic interventions
