Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Contraindications for whole-body cryotherapy are the following: pregnancy, severe hypertension (blood pressure > 180/100), acute or recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina, arrhythmia, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, pacemaker, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, venous thrombosis, acute or recent cerebrovascular accident, uncontrolled seizures, Raynaud's syndrome, fever, tumor disease, symptomatic lung disease, Blood clotting disorders, severe anemia, infections, cold allergies and acute kidney and urinary tract diseases, as well as epileptic seizures, further increased intraocular pressure. If you suffer from the above conditions or meet the exclusion criteria, you will unfortunately not be able to participate in our study, as we cannot guarantee that cryotherapy can have positive effects for you. The same applies to patients with glaucoma, for which there is no exclusion of liability, e.g. in case of unexplained increase in intraocular pressure. Exclusion criteria for the study are more than 4 cups of coffee per day, more than 2 alcoholic beverages per day, a strong diet change and extreme sports, as well as other cold applications such as ice bathing.
