Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Presence of at least one cochlear implant - Age of majority - First fitting of the cochlear implant at least 6 weeks ago - Regular appointment during the study period for outpatient follow-up care at the Hearing Center Düsseldorf - Presence of a written consent - German as a second language

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - No written consent from the patient - Minor - Sign language as native language - Uncorrectable visual impairment/blindness according to own information

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
End of data collection is planned for October 2024. The end point will be reached when all subjects (n=40) have completed the required questionnaires and passed the experiment. The data will then be processed statistically.
