Group 1: This group will be assigned to wear a hip brace post surgery. Group 2: This group will not be assigned a hip brace after surgery.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Primary hip arthroscopy for FAI syndrome.

Exclusion criteria: Revisions Age < 18 years Hip dysplasias Infections

Measure	Time frame
Primary outcome measure is subjective perception regarding a fear of movement using the Tampa Scale during the first 6 months postoperatively.	—

Secondary

Measure	Time frame
As a secondary outcome measure, the international Hip-Outcome Tool (iHot)-12 and pain level will be assessed using the numerical analog scale.	—
